Darren's Pre-Birthday Dinner @ Railway Express Bistro

As we were planning to celebrate Darren's birthday, we decided to dine in at the newly opened Railway Express Bistro, located just below Angelus Fitness @ Stutong. The corner shop used to be Fire Stone Steamboat, then the owners switched to serve Western Cuisine. Developing the shop into a railway train design as according to the name, the waiters and waitresses were dressed in their railway uniforms. The place was just opened for a couple of days and we had been sniffing in great smell from the kitchen while working out in the gym lately. Hopefully the foods taste as good as it smelled.
Mushroom Soup (RM8). Served with the herbs-spiced butter garlic bread, the mushroom soup was really good. Rich in taste with bits of mushrooms! Would be better if it's served hot.
Breast Chicken Chop (RM14). We opt for the Red Wine Sauce to go with our "gym-food". Marinated in mixed herbs, yielding the slight greenish colored chicken breast, the meat was juicy, tender and full with flavors. The Red Wine Sauce was good too!
Railway Lamb Chop (RM24). The lamb was grilled to perfection as well. Very tender. Mushroom Sauce was chose here, but I did not try. Ah Hui said the sauce was not nice thou. The mashed potatoes served was so delicious! It's very creamy and smooth! Made with rich butter I guessed! I eventually ordered another Breast Chicken Chop, requesting my fries to be changed to mashed potatoes! Hehe~
Railway Alfredo (RM18). With bacon bits, mushrooms and ham, the spaghetti cooked in the rich Alfredo Sauce was a great dish to enjoy. Just that portion was rather small thou.
Yummy!! Will come back for more! :D
