Haza Cafe

Couldn't recall when was my visit to Haza Cafe! Definitely quite some time. Located at Rubber Road area, a few shoplots next to After 4. This was our 1st visit there. Operated by a Malay family, we were welcomed and served by the warm and friendly crew. Being attracted by the pies upon entering, so got a slice of beef pie.
Beef pie. Yummy! They have chicken pie and mix beef and chicken as well.
Mushroom soup.

Served with a plate of *free* local Kek Lapis made by the "mum", who was claimed to be one of Hilton Kuching's chef. Definitely up to standard.
Papi pan-seared imported fish fillet. My type of dish~

Papi pan-seared chicken chop. Deliciously cooked as well.
Dishes here were all quite good. Just that portion might be a little bit small. xP

Sharing Downtown

Sharing Planet is a popular Western cuisine serving restaurant in Kuching. Good for the huge and generous portions of good foods with reasonable price, their first outlet was at Stapok area. Had to make reservations in order to secure your dining experience there. To cater more customers, they expanded their business by opening another outlet in town, known as Sharing Downtown. This was my first time there and I brought along my parents. The menu is the same as the original Sharing Planet. The environment is similar to Sharing Planet as well as they offer alfresco dining environment. Let's see what we had for the night!

Double Cheezyland (RM13.80). Juicy and crispy of big size chicken cutlets deep fried and topped with cheese slice and thousand island sauce.
Mushroom Soup (RM5.80).
Seafood Carbonara (RM19.80). Served in rich and creamy carbonara sauce! Yumms~~
Supreme de volaille (RM16.80). Chicken chop with ham and cheese, served with fries and coleslaw. Always one of my favorite dishes here.

Grilled lamb shoulder (RM19.80). Generous portions of lamb shoulder served in nicely marinated black pepper sauce.
Having ice creams to end our meal!

KL Food Hunt #11: Antipodean

After a light confectionary indulgence at Tong Kee, we are ready for brunch at Antipodean. Located at Bangsar Village where there's lots of good foods, the cafe is operated by an Australian if not mistaken.
Ice Cappucino (RM9).

Affogato (RM10). Ice cream on top of espresdo shot. Superb!
Hot Latte (RM9). Nice coffe art.
Hot Cappucino (RM10). Lovely~~ ♡♡
Here comes our main dishes! :p~
Big breakfast (RM20). Toast, bacon, mushrooms, scrambled eggs and hashbrown. Yummeh~

Big breakfast consisting of pork sausage instead of bacon.

Great breakfast to start our day!

Scrambled egg salmon on toast (RM20). I had this. So good! The gooey egg yolk melts in the mouth with each bite. Smoked salmon served on their special wheat toast complement so well. :)

A group photo after breakfast.

Went shopping at the new opened Nu Sentral Mall at KL Sentral. Lots of shops were still unoccupied thou.

Fullhouse @ The Hills Shopping Mall

It's been a long time we did not visit Fullhouse. They have 2 outlets in Kuching, first in The Hills Shopping Mall and another one in CityOne Megamall. I brought my parents to try out the one in The Hills. Was there for lunch and it was empty. =.= It happened that they were having some electrical maintenance indoor, so we sat outside. It's not hot anyway. Going through the cute colorful menu, finally decided on what we wanted to have.

Wok-Seared Chicken Chop with Black Pepper Sauce (RM16.90)
Beef Bacon Carbonara (RM18.90).
Grilled New Zealand Lamb Shoulder Black Pepper Style (RM34.90).

Some small cakes for dessert.

KL Food Hunt #6: Ikea Restaurant

It was our last day in KL. After having breakfast at the hotel, we asked the taxi driver to send us to 1 Utama. Shopping done, had our lunch at the Ikea Restaurant. The restaurant is famous for their meatballs which are cheap and delicious. When we got there, it was really crowded that it was not easy to grab a table. George and I went to get our orders. As we had the big-eater Dui in our group, we did not have to worry about not finishing our foods. Haha~

The all-time-favorite Swedish Meatballs! It might seemed weird to be served with jam, but the combination tasted just perfect. Mashed potatoes was smooth and creamy.
Chicken leg with Swedish herb and lemon sauce. Quite nice too.
Poached salmon with chive sauce. Not our likings thou.
Chicken Wings. Delicous!
Almond Cake. Yummeh~
Forgotten what cake was this. Not bad too.
Creme Brulee
We ordered another plate of Beef Ribs with Fries later as George was so tempted by it since early. The meat was so soft that it teared easily from the ribs. Good!
Overall, the food was quite good. Cheap of cos.
