Being as part of Lok Thian Restaurant, Joyous Shanghai (悅上海) is located on the top floor. Well-known for its Chinese dishes at night, Joyous Shanghai also sells Dim Sum in the morning. According to a few friends, the Dim Sums are good, but kind of pricey. And so, we decided to give it a try.

Very "Chinese"-looking menu |
Took some time before our orders arrived.

Siew Mai. |

Shanghai Steamed Soup Dumplings (小笼包). Must handle with care so that the skin would not burst and the soup would not overflow. The pork broth was a little bit too strong. |
|
Glutinous Rice with Chicken - Lo Mai Kai (糯米鸡). Nice! Chicken pieces, peanuts and mushrooms are the main ingredients wrapped in the glutinous rice. |

Pan-Fried Pork Dumplings |

Egg Tarts. I just love egg tarts. |

Pork Stomach steamed with Salted Vege and Chili. A new and special dish. |
As we ordered a lot of the porky dim sums, the taste of pork was too strong for us, but overall, I enjoyed my dim sums! :D Price-wise, the total was ~RM56, so was that cheap or expensive or reasonable?
