Penang Food Hunt #37 @ Delicious, Straits Quay

Here we were again at Straits Quay's Delicious for some nice desserts! These were our orders for the night- Berrilicious Chocolate Pavlova and Chilled Pineapple Cheesecake!

Chilled Pineapple Cheesecake with Raspberry Mousse (RM14.90). Wondering where's the raspberry mousse?? Check out the next picture.

Sweet with a slightly sourish Raspberry Mousse flowing out from the cheesecake. The cheesecake was really smooth and the fruity pineapple on top makes the cheesecake even great!

Berrilicious Chocolate Pavlova (RM13.90). Why is it called berrilicious? Cos there were lots of strawberries on the meringue-based dessert, having a crisp crust and soft mashmallows inside!

Penang Food Hunt #36 @ Marshall's Burger, Jalan Burma

Marshall's Burger is currently the most popular place for the best burger in town. The owner, formerly working as an engineer, found his interest in grilling burger. His burger gained popularity in a short time and the owner eventually quit his job as an engineer and runs his burger business. There were a couple of burgers such as The Bison, Hawaian Piggy etc. We had the famous The Bull!

The Bull (RM9.90). Beef patty embedded with two slices of cheddar cheese. 

Penang Food Hunt #35 @ Lean Thye Coffee Shop, Ah Quee Street

Another Penangites' old-time favorite for Lor Mee is Lean Thye Coffee Shop. It wasn't hard and long for us to get there as there was less traffic early in the morning. It was an old coffee shop, run by the whole family.

Penang Food Hunt #34 @ TGI Friday's, Queensbay Mall

Have been longing to bring my friend to try out the dishes at TGI Friday's, so here we were. Took us some time to decide on our menu and so we ordered Three-For-All as our starter, Championship BBQ Chicken as our main course and finally Brownie Obsession for dessert!

Championship BBQ Chicken (RM29.90). Given a roasted half chicken grilled to be topped with their sourish BBQ sauce. As for the side dishes, onion rings and cheddar cheese-flavored mashed potatoes, which I love most, were served. My personal opinion was that the chicken was grilled till a little bit too dry. Other than that, the taste was good.

Starter Platter Three-For-All (RM35.90). Loaded Potato Skins, Fried Mozzarella and our spicy Buffalo Wings, complete with sour cream and green onions, marinara sauce and celery sticks with Bleu Cheese dressing. This was really a highly recommended dish by my friends especially when they say cheese lovers are going to love the fried mozzarella a lot. I really enjoyed the Loaded Potato Skins and Fried Mozarella. Oolala~~ I love Fried Mozarella to go with the Bleu Cheese dressing, whereas the Potato Skins with sour cream.

Brownie Obsession (RM15.90).  This was my second time having this sweet sweet Brownie Obsession! Glad that I brought along my camera this time. Able to get nice pics now~~ :)

Penang Food Hunt #33 @ Lam Ah Coffee Shop, Chulia Street (opposite Bomba)

2 things to get in Lam Ah Coffee Shop are the beef soup kway teow and also the crispy deep-fried oyster omeletter (O' Chien). I was in search for crispy O' Chien all these while as most Penang's O' Chien are the soggy types. Finally got what I want from this Lam Ah Coffee Shop and it was claimed to be one of the best in town. Was very fortunate that the Beef Soup Kway Teow is also very famous.

The stall is managed by a pretty young lady who was blocked by the stall.

The uncle was deep-frying the O' Chien.

O' Chien (RM5). Yummy and crispy! Glad that it was worth our 30 mins drive.

Beef Soup Kway Teow (RM8). Alright. I must say this was really good. For beef eaters, you will enjoy the rich taste of beef in the soup. I wonder how much beef is needed to yield this strong and flavorful beef aroma~ Nice! This is really what people call as BEEF soup!
