Penang Food Hunt #56: Humble Beginnings, Straits Quay

According to the western culture, a meal is best ended with desserts. Despite the fact we were terribly full after dinner,  that did not stop us from pursuing our desserts at Humble Beginnings. We got there late, so left with not much choices. Ordered whatever that were available then.
Chocolate Velvet (RM9.90)
Peanut Butter Blueberry (RM9.90)
Pandan Kaya (RM9.90)
Almond Bitter Cheese (RM8.90). Got ourselves slice of cake as well. Seems like the cake taste better than crepes. Hehe...
Cookies and Cream (RM9.90)
After tasting famous mille crepes from both Melaka's and Penang's,  all claimed that Nadeje's mille crepes were better. In terms of texture and taste, the crepes layers of Nadeje's were softer and smoother,  with each layers attaching even being cut.  While crepes here would detach when we sliced them.

Melaka Food Hunt#3: Nadeje

Very very famous as the best Mille Crepe seller in Malaysia, this shall not be missed by us! Originated from Melaka, and so now here we were was at the Dahtaran Pahlawan Mall outlet.

Mille Crepes! Great thing to have as dessert after dinner!! 😁

Guess what?! We ordered every single crepe flavor available. We are definitely big eaters! LOL!

Rum & Raisin
Double Chocolate
Original
Banana Chocolate
Green Tea
Praline Lover
Cafe Mocha
Berry Berry Strawberry
Mango Yogurt
All the flavors we ordered! 12 pieces altogether! We had 2 pieces of the original flavor. I missed out taking the pics of the Malacca and Tiramisu flavors. =.= The mille crepes were really good. So soft and smooth. Each layer melted in the mouth. The flavors tasted mild and you wouldn't be complaining for having too much. Yummy! Personally loved the original, praline lover, double chocolate, banana chocolate, cafe mocha, rum and raisin and green tea the best. Sounds like loving all of them. Haha!
Photo after dessert! Desserts made everyone happy. :D
We later took a stroll to the new opening Melaka's 1st H&M store. They had this free trishaw ride to Jonker Street, but it was past 10pm already, so closed for business.
Pattern a lot. Haha!

LOL!

Nutella Mille Crepe @ Cuppa-Kap Coffee

Nutella Mille Crepe (RM9.50 - RM10.50)
Well.. Even though we were very full from our dinner at Korean Food, I still wanna have a piece of dessert.. :P After a week of hard work in the gym, I always crave for sweet stuffs especially cakes in the weekends. Gosh! This must be the reason why my abs are yet to be seen~~ Covered by fats!

We had the green tea mille crepe at Cuppa-Kap Coffee for the 1st trial, now we chose the Nutelle Mille Crepe for a try. Quite nice. Not very sweet, richer in taste as compared to the green tea one. Very smooth as before. Just that we did not really get the Nutella taste in it.

Shimino Crepe

Crepes outlet seems to be going on well in Kuching. First is Mazazu Crepe at Plaza Merdeka. Now we have one at City One Mall too - Shimino (See Me No?). LOL! We seldom dine at City One, provided we are having movies there. Choosing from their menu list, finally decided on this:
A sweet and warm crepe. Quite ok, but nothing really to shout about I guess.
