Another dessert outlet @ Meet Fresh, Berjaya Times Square

Meet Fresh is another dessert outlet similar to Snowflake and Blackball, with lots of branches worldwide. Came across the new outlet at Berjaya Times Square and stopped by for a break. They have rather nice and decent outlet concept.

Their menu
Looking through their long list of menu, finally decided to have their Dual Combination 鸳鸯配

As usual, the alerting system practices in all dessert stores.
Dual Combination 鸳鸯配 (RM6.90). Came in dual ice base which were soy bean blended and mung bean blended. Topped with sweet and chewy Taro balls, fresh sweet potatoes and Q balls, I personally think that this was better than the one I had at Snowflakes'. :D

Pavilion's Food Court

Well.. After a couple of heavy meals, it's time to go for something simple.
A simple set dish from the Herbal counter.
John King Egg Tart. I had the Durian-flavored and the Portugese Egg Tart. So So NICE!!!
Huge bowl of Ice Kacang. Songs~~ A meal is always great when it ends with dessert! :D

Ding Tai Fung's Xiao Long Bao!

Why am I here at Din Tai Fung 鼎泰豐? Cos it was known to serve one of the best Xiao Long Bao 小笼包! Of cos it feels awkward for 3 of us to just order a basket of Xiao Long Bao, so we selected some of their signature dishes for lunch as well.
Shrimp Fried Rice. Very fragrantly stir fried!
Here came my Xiao Long Bao. I must say this was really the best I had so far! Probably those served in Kuching are just sub-standard. >.<
House Special Steamed Chicken Soup to go along with the fried rice. The broth was so rich, seems like stewing for quite some time. Nice!

Auntie Anne's Pretzel

I remembered the 1st time I had Auntie Anne's was in Penang, in which we bought a packet of Eclairs Stix and enjoy it while watching movie in the cinema. Ah~~ Memories~ I just couldn't forget how the hot chocolate melts in the mouth. The rich chocolate diffused into the soft and chewy pretzel stix, satisfying my every bite!
A packet of 6 choco eclair stix for just RM3.90! Definitely worth it!
A tip for you: best consumed when it's hot as the chocolate will harden when cold. :)

Snowflake Offer

Well.. Snowflake is always a must-eat dessert when I go to KL. I forgotten what I had, should be their signature dessert? They were having offer at RM4.90 per bowl. Luving it!

A taste at Sushi Zanmai

Sushi Zanmai was said to be the best Japanese Chain Restaurant in KL and so, we just set foot into the restaurant for dinner as it's just a few steps from our stay.
The first thing that came into my mind? SALMON! Oh yea~ Spicy Salmon Sushi!
Okonomoyaki. I always love to try out Okonomoyaki in any new Japanese restaurant I came across. However, this was not the version I like. This somehow tasted like omelette only. >.<
Could not recall the name of this dish, but it was quite nice. Something like steamboat.
Inari kanimayo yaki. Roasted crab meat embedded in sweetened tofu skin and topped with mayonnaise.
Spicy Niku Ramen (Beef) (RM12.80). This was really nice! The soup was very flavorful and the beef meat was just nice and tender, going well with the tasty, spongy ramen. The egg was great! The egg white was cooked, but able to maintain the gooey egg yolk within it.
Chuka Lidako. Yum Yum!
So far, I think it's just ok. Had higher expectations. Maybe I did not order the right dish??

During my KL trip, it was a delight to enjoy sumptuous breakfast buffet at Federal Hotel.

Showcasting my breakfasts for a couple of days:

Half-boiled egg which I enjoyed a lot! Perfectly done!
Healthy bowl of cereals every morning
Just couldn't resist good food! Love the croissants!
Section of porridge. The salted egg porridge was good. You can add on flavors to your porridge by adding extra ingredients.
Some local Malaysian dishes
Ever-ready chef to prepare scrambled eggs, bacon slices for eaters!

Drooling now =p~

Laneige Korean Beauty Blogger Contest

K-pop has been blooming in Malaysia in recent years. Their music, fashion, make-ups or can I say "everything", have strong affections to youngsters. One very important feature about Korean celebrities is that they have extremely flawless, fair and beautiful-looking skin! Even the male artists have that coveted skin complexion! :O

Yearning to have such fair and lovely skin, I had tried a couple of Korean skin care products. Laneige provides the skincare range which I think suits me best! I started using Laneige skincare 2 years back as I had been receiving good feedback on the brand. Back then, there was no outlet in Kuching and I had to plead my buddies to get me my SKIN SAVER from KL when I had the chance. I was terrifically excited and happy when the first ever Laneige outlet sets foot into Kuching in The Spring Shopping Mall!

For friends who wish to try out Laneige product for the first time, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do try the Laneige Water Sleeping Pack! What do I like about it? It is easy to use and most important of all, it keeps my skin hydrated, moisturized, translucent and bright! Laneige Water Sleeping Pack acts like a mask which you apply before sleep, leaving it on face throughout the night, maximizing the infusion of the essence within it while you enjoy a good sleep. With just once or twice application a week, you could see the effect shortly. The sleeping pack is an antidote not only to my skin, but also to me. Why do I say so?? It has a soothing aroma which provides relaxation to my mind after a tiring day. :)

I wasn't a "make-up" girl until recently, I started putting on a light make-up. BB cream is something I put on to have smooth-looking and even complexion skin tone. I recently just switched to Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion and it was really good! Unlike other BB, it is very natural, blends into my skin well as if I did not put on anything. It is somehow a little bit cool when applied, providing the cooling effect. It is non-sticky, non-greasy and sweat-resistant, which is excellent when I go for badminton. With SPF 50+ PA+++, the lazy me can skip my sunscreen and just apply it after my moisturize! :-bd
Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion
Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion suitable for use in any functions. Outing, dinner, party with friends! It's very long-lasting and keeps my face fresh at all times! ❤ ♡ ♥

So, if you ask me which Laneige skincare product and make-up product I like it most, it would be the Water Sleeping Pack and Snow BB Soothing Cushion! Nuffnang is currently organizing the Laneige K-Beauty Blogger Contest. For gals out there inspired to have vibrant Korean Beauty, tips would be given out for the 10 lucky contest winners. So, hurry up and submit your blog! :!!

Jogoya Buffet Restaurant, Starhill Gallery

I'm finally step foot into Jogoya!! YES!! Warm greetings by Jogoya's friendly staffs, I couldn't wait to rush into the place and tuck into some good food! Before getting some food, it's wise to walk around and decide what to have as they really have a WIDE variety of food choices!
Japanese food corner. Lots of fresh sashimi, appetizers as well and fresh seafood to be taken RAWWW~~
SASHIMIsss~~ Too bad I couldn't get hold of nice pics of the Salmon cuts as it was the most popular dish among all.
Raw Seafood kept chilled on ice at all times to maintain the freshness
Western food anyone?? Just place your clip with your table number in the glass bowl, then your selected dish would be sent to you shortly.
Ingredients for HOT POT
If not mistaken, this should be for VIP members only. Then next to the counter which appeared behind in my pic was some choices of Chinese Cuisine such as Singaporean Chili Crab etc.
Teppanyaki
Dim Sum corner and also some herbal soups.
Unlimited scoops of Haagen-Dazs people!! There's also New Zealand Natural Ice Cream in which you could have it served with waffles as well, but hey, sorry, I'm going for HAAGEN-DAZS!
Really great choices of awesome cakes and pastries!
There were a couple of stations which I did not take pictures of like the Deep-fried section, a section with all the cheezy stuffs and the drinks area.
Heating pot available on every table for your hot pot! Well~ We did not use this as we were thinking that those steamboat stuffs and soup will make us full fast.
So, what did I have??!
Fresh Oyster, Salmon, Butterfish etc.
Seafood - Big Crab Leg, Abalone Slices, Scallops etc.
Big Prawn, Raw Squid, Octopus etc.
All the Cheezy stuffs! Unagi, Blue Mussel, Potato and Scallop baked in cheese-mayo!!!
Shark Fin Soup
Japanese Seaweed Salad / Hiyashi Wakame
Buddha Jumps Over the Wall Soup 佛跳墙
Shark Fins
More Sashimis and Butterfish for me!
Big, fat and juicy bamboo clams with black pepper sauce
Grilled codfish
More CHEESE!!
Some veges, eels from the Teppanyaki station!
More grilled codfish!
Another plate of SALMONS *thumbs up*
I just love potatoes!!
Just managed to try a couple of the tempting-looking cakes.
Tiramisu. Oh man! The desserts were so good!
Finally, HAAGEN-DAZS came last! A meal in Jogoya would not be complete without this!
I had a total of 8 scoops of Haagen-Dazs ice cream despite that I already had so much food.
See the "tamjiak" me with my Salmon. LOL!
Posing outside the restaurant after our dinner :D
Obviously I did not try all the food in Jogoya like the Chili Crab, the steamed codfish which I did not spot it, the Hot Pot, Dim Sum, Thai Coconut Drink and many many more. I will definitely come back again!! At the price of RM88++ per pax, the dining experience here is definitely worth the value, taking into the choices available, the delicious and fresh dishes served and the good services provided. :)
